Saber initially never planned to use her Warp Band to bond other Pokémon, thinking of herself as a Pokémon first rather than a human. However, while training in the Canyon, she met the fiercest and most devil-may-care Shinx cub she could possibly imagine, and in getting to know the other Pokémon, struck up a friendship that became a partnership. Mostly, she lies around a lot and plays with random objects unless there's a fight to be had, where she'll jump in with abandon regardless of her opponent's size.

Also she's adorable.

As a Gible, he was fierce and aggressive, and he was causing a lot of trouble in the Canyon before he was bested by Saber. He's still trying to establish himself as the dominant one and will likely continue to do so, requiring Saber to keep her guard up.

Saber, for her part, recognizes alpha behavior when she sees it, and somewhat encourages it. She's proud of the little guy, and appreciates being kept on her toes.

As a Garchomp now, he's incredibly proud of reaching the apex of his power, but as he's still unable to take down the tiny sword thing that Bonded him, he listens to her commands without question, especially "stop destroying the house with localized earthquakes".

Litleo is a young and headstrong, somewhat immature Pokemon that tends to rush forward into a fight without thinking it through at first. It seems to have a natural talent as a leader despite this, having a rather noble bearing. It prefers the company of nature to others and often wanders off into forests to be amongst its kind. Unfortunately, during winter, this makes it exceedingly difficult to find. It has a knack for turning up at the right times, though.

Now that she's evolved, she still keeps the same quiet and introspective view of life; she's just mistaken for a full-size pine tree instead of a sapling.
